Gordon Kab @ Gudan Bin Kab, aged 51, was appointed as our Non-Independent Executive Director on 29 February 2008. He was offered a Majlis Amanah Rakyat scholarship in 1975 to pursue his tertiary (A-Levels) education at Northampton College of Technology, England (1975-1977). He continued his degree course in 1978 and graduated in 1980 from Loughborough University of Technology, England, United Kingdom, with a B.Sc.(Hon.) degree in Civil Engineering. He has over twenty- seven (27) years of combined working experience in both Oil and Gas and the Construction industries. He gained extensive experience in the provision of engineering, design, construction and project management services for various offshore and onshore projects, provision of technical supports to fabrication yards and offshore engineering supports for the Oil and Gas Industry vide his attachments with Sarawak Shell for fifteen (15) years), Sime Darby Berhad's Oil and Gas Engineering Division, Esteem Century Sdn Bhd. In mid May 2000, he was engaged by Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad as a Special Project Manager (Central Procurement Unit) and then a Senior Project Manager for PPES Works (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd (Northern Region Operation) in charge of the management of various infrastructure construction projects. He then moved on to PPES Marine Resources Sdn. Bhd. as an Operations Manager in the Deep Sea Fishing Division in charge of vessels management and support. He joined Naim Cendera Sdn Bhd ("NCSB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Naim in February 2006 as a senior Head of Construction and Director. His major involvements are in the implementation and construction of major projects- infrastructure, roads, bridges, institutional complexes. He also recently headed the Oil and Gas Division of Naim. He is currently responsible for overseeing and monitoring the management and operations of our Group.
